It seems remiss for A Place to Bury Strangers not to have the headlining slot. Pouring every fiber of their being into every show they play, the band makes it difficult for anyone playing afterward to even remotely measure up.

I can honestly place APTBS in that category of an artist you HAVE to see at least once, regardless of your taste in music.

Oliver has developed a sense of restraint in his live playing; where before the more pop songs like “I Know I’ll See You” had sounded thrilling but messy, now they shine due to Oliver waiting to add a little more feedback here and there, instead of going overboard with the noise
