Fredericksburg Songwriters' Showcase Pat Lamanna

Pat Lamanna

Pat Lamanna has been singing and writing songs all her life, which is quite a long time. She was born and raised in New York City and moved to Dutchess County, N.Y. in 1987. She has three grown daughters and currently makes her home in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. with her cat Babs. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work and recently retired from her “day job,” supervising interns and teaching courses in the Human Services programs at Dutchess Community College. She has two solo albums, "Full Circle," released in 2009, and "Do I Know My Song Well Enough to Start Singing Yet?" released in 2012. Sonny Ochs introduced her to the Folk DJ Showcase at the 2012 conference of the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance. Pete Seeger has told her, “You should write more songs!”
