Mark Sylvester regularly appears in and around Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD highlighting music from American Gypsy, his CD of original acoustic guitar solos.
In addition to his solo shows, Mark performs as a member of the "forest rock" group Tree Surgeons. He also plays with several singer/songwriters in the Washington, DC area. On guitar Mark accompanies acoustic soul vocalist Verlette Simon, and he plays upright bass with singersongwriterpoet Greta Ehrig, among others.
