Chapter 10 WAIS: Searching Databases on the Internet
If you don't have a WAIS client on your system you can use WAIS by choosing
from the following methods. All of these aren't always available.
It seems that Telnet access to WAIS clients is getting to be very scarce
Here is one to try --
WAIS databases are also available throgh Gopher ...

There are lots of sites on the Internet that give access to WAIS through
Gopher. For this example we're using the server at Arizona State University.
